HRIA is pleased to announce that the 2012 HRIA Conference will be Powered 100% by Green Energy through Bullfrog Power!

What does this mean?

Bullfrog Power will inject Alberta-made wind power onto the Alberta grid to match the amount of electricity used by the 2012 Conference. (Approximately 24 megawatt hours over 3 days) All of the electricity injected on behalf of HRIA will be sourced from wind facilities that have been certified as low impact by Environment Canada.

Emission reductions:

The emissions reductions associated with HRIA using Bullfrog Power are:

• CO₂ (tonnes) 16.35 (Carbon Dioxide)
• SO2 (kg) 95.70 (Sulfur Dioxide)
• NO (kg) 47.85 (Spectral Noise Density)
